RBRSKI
Considering this credit card as an additional source of benefits. For those of you have it, are the perks worth it and are the rules fair? How have they been with Covid related cancellations?
Matt
You're referring to the BOA Royal Caribbean credit card, right? I recently wrote about if the Royal Caribbean credit card worth it. Ogilthorpe
WAAAYTOOO
We have the BoA Royal Caribbean card and we use it constantly. I know there are those who believe there are cards out there that offer a bigger percentage return, and that's true....but we find the BoA card to be very beneficial. I use it for all of my RCCL purchases, including cruise fare, cruise planner purchases and onboard expenses. We get 2% on all RCCL purchases and it goes directly to OBC. I think there is an option to actually get a "free" cruise, but we have never tried to do that so I'm not sure what the process is. Since we are casino people, we easily use the OBC in the casino. It works very well for us. Ogilthorpe, SpeedNoodles and RickinSTL
Baked Alaska
We have the BOFA RCG credit card. Will be ditching it. Instead of giving an immediate credit on a dispute (at least CP COVID related refunds) it took them 45 days to issue a provisional credit. I can only assume that the refund "took" as I have not heard anything more from them via email or their message center on the BOFA website. Will probably move to Chase Saphire. Andy & Sheryl Unwin
We use the RC Credit card specifically for cruise expenses. For us its easier to control that way. We do occassionally add a small item here and there to keep the card active, but immediately cleared. Pattycruise
I have the card. It is my primary card I use every month and pay off the balance in full monthly. I also have put my 2 sons college tuition onto the card -it is billed monthly, I figure I'm paying for college they are putting me on a cruise or buying me a drink package! LOL I have not yet figured out if I will be applying my points to a cruise any time soon as I believe if you cancel your cruise you lose your points. I can be wrong on that so you might want to call BOA points and ask. WAAAYTOOO
