Grand Suite Dining

We have 3 cabins booked for a cruise with one being a Grand Suite which includes in room dining with main dining menu.  We have 3 cabins because they are free cruises and that way we don't pay for 3rd or 4th person.  Are we able to order dinner in the room for all 5 of us or just the 2 booked in the room?  Has anyone done this?

Yes.  Complimentary room service can be ordered for any number of people.  Just realize that the GS does not have a dining table inside.  There will be a small table on the balcony but it would not accommodate 5 people.  It really doesn’t even accommodate 2 people very well. But yes...you can order as much food for as many as you like.  They would deliver the food only to the GS. In fairness, even the dining table in the OS would not accommodate 5 people...

Thinking out loud...  If it was just two people in the suite and you wanted five entrees delivered to your cabin they will probably do just that.

I could be solo in a GS and order 12 orders of chicken wings and it would be delivered.

On the flip side understand in doing so you are abusing the benefit by doing so.  The long term effect is that they could remove this benefit in the future because of this kind of abuse.  Suite benefits are clearly stated to be only for suite guests in the suite and not family or friends in other cabins no different compared to having everyone showing up at the suite pool deck seating or at the suite lounge.  It is expressly against the policy.

When people abuse these benefits changes are made.  This is why.

Thank you for the responses.  Hubby and our youngest are most likely to use this.  We will check when onboard and if it is an issue we will limit two to dinner in the suite.  I honesty didn't think it was a big deal since they would be coming there anyways but at the same time if it is too cramped that won't be ideal.  Just thinking of a quiet family dinner one night.

Yes, I've done this. One night a cruise we used to invite friends to our room for dinner in the suite instead of MDR. They couldn't have cared less how much I ordered.
