FManke
Until the Covid-19 situation comes under control with a vaccine and such, all of the speculation as to what's going to happen is just that. Speculation. But, since speculation is all we have now, what do you think might be permanent changes to the way we cruise in the future? Temperature checks prior to boarding? Advanced health screenings? Any permanent onboard changes? Happy (future) Cruising!

AndrewPunch
I think trays are going to come back to the windjammer. cruisellama
twangster
Hopefully the habit of washing hands and using hand sanitizer will become more common permanently. RWDW1204, Traveler, Tira04 and 3 others

cruisellama
Later boarding times to allow for expanded cleaning. More reliance on "touch-less" interfaces like WOW band becoming more prevalent. Tira04 and Neesa

Maybe an excuse to eliminate printing the daily paper Cruise Compass programs and move it all to digital format across the Royal APP J_Keeble
Jill
I’d like to see some sort of Cruise with Confidence stay in place. I wonder how many people continue to take their cruise knowing they are sick. I’d like to see some incentive for people to stay home when ill. I was talking about this with my TA, and she was pretty confident it will go away once things are stabilized. It brings too much risk of people going back to their habits before things like mandatory NRD for suites and change penalties for the same went into effect. Basically people going and booking a ton of cruises with no intention of sailing them, then canceling last-minute for all but a couple and taking the credits offered, forcing Royal / Celebrity to now deeply discount those cabins last-minute so they can sail full. I'd like to see a happy median that allows cruisers the option of protecting their bookings in these uncertain times, but also allows RC to not have to take a "loss" which in the long run could hurt the company. tonyfsu21
Plexiglass barricades at all the casino tables for sure. No congregating at bar areas (inside & outside casino). Pool area roped off & reservations are going to have to be made to enjoy a pool day. 50% capacity in all dining venues w/ expedited service in the dining room to turn tables. Embark/Debark done 100% online and staggered times granted for getting on and off the ship. Windjammer reworked to a marketplace where you scan barcode at table & order via app & food delivered to table. Room service staff increased to allow for expedited service to alleviate windjammer load. Staff in promenade mall enforcing movement with dedicated lanes on both directions (no more massive crowds in the promenade). Rising tide bar closed until further notice. Sunset sail away for suite guests cancelled and replaced with a free drink voucher. Suite lounge access limited to first come, first serve w/ a 10 minute maximum stay (same with Diamond lounge). This represents my opinion on worse case scenario & if this becomes reality I would have to rethink cruising.
Zambia-Zaire
I suspect reduce capacity....which may or may not be a bad thing; but, i also suspect that will be coupled with much higher prices across the board.
