usmcbillswife
How soon after you board the ship are you able to go to your cabin?
Todd
It depends upon the cruise, the port, the passengers who had the cabin before and the turn around of the ship. Most of the time the cabin is ready for you when you board. But if you board early or they have delays they will tell you to go to eat first. usmcbillswife
Jerel
In my experience it's been around 1:00. But like Todd says, it depends. on a side note, make sure not to pack bottles of liquid in your checked luggage. You will still get your room on time but your bags will be late. You will need to go down and open the bag for them so they can see its legal. Just thought I'd mention. usmcbillswife
DocLC
It's been closer to 2:00 pm in my last three cruises. usmcbillswife

firegal2539
I am always an early boarder, why I don't know except I go by when my flight gets me to the port. They send me to eat and tell me to come back around 1 pm. Luggage has arrived as early as 3 and as late as 7. usmcbillswife

PRC
Almost always 1pm. Mariner had a consistent 2pm policy back when she sailed from Galveston, but I never found an answer as to why. usmcbillswife
monctonguy
Just remember.....you should be able to access your cabin around 1pm...but luggage may not show till 8pm as per their signage so keep that in mind when packing for the first day on the ship. usmcbillswife
mom2mybugs
1 on both my cruises, but not only is luggage later, but it can come at totally different times. Last cruise i trotted using the zip tie locks on my suitcases, which was awesome...except that the suitcase with the scissors in the outside pocket didn't come until like 3 hours after the other ones! You should have seen us trying to get them open to unpack lol! usmcbillswife
