cruisellama
Anyone fly kites when they visit? Did you bring your own or buy locally?
CFL
I didn’t fly a kite but many people were. There’s a little stand where you can purchase one right there.
twangster
It's like a public park. Many locals bring kites. There are no "kite police" that I've seen but you will have to pack it and get it on board. Of all the things to pack you'll have to decide if it's worth bringing for the time you'll be able to use it on the cruise overall.

I think its probably better to buy it on site so you don't have carry it on-board. Then you can toss it before you go back to the ship. Or give it to a child you pass by on the way back to port. Then it continues to get use and enjoyment.
