cruisellama
Followed a Celebrity email for some sails on Oct 2020 Galapagos sailings. Are they able to sail that region? The prices on Expedition were lowest I've seen. Even Flora had a tempting price point after some discounts.
JLMoran
Those sailings leave out of South America, right? They might well be able to sail from there since there's no US port usage, and it's not like any US travelers leaving the country are obligated to say they're going on a cruise ship. That said, if the embarkation port city isn't accepting US travelers, like so many European and other cities / countries, then it's a moot point. Might want to check on that first. Maybe a better chance entering Ecuador as its non-EU. Right now air travel is open from US. You need a C19 test to enter the country. SpeedNoodles
You'd have to fly into Chile, and according to my friend, who lives in Santiago, the still have pretty big restrictions on their own residents, so I don't know how eager they are to have inbound travelers. https://cl.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/security-and-travel-information/covid-19-information/ JLMoran

Had not seen the prices that low. If you can't get into the country (without quarantine), how do you sail. Just marketing to pull in more deposits/paid cruises that will get cancelled?
