Rather than cancel and lose the non-refundable deposit, can we gift it to another couple and pay any change fees that apply or does one of us need to stay on the booking? And a Happy 4th July to friends across the pond This year there will celebrations in England too... as it's the day that bars and restaurants are allowed to reopen! The cost of a phone call is free (if you use the right number in the UK) so it never hurts to ask.
