Rickp703
Hi everyone, While I guess it makes sense, can anyone confirm that the Annual Prime Tier free cruise CANNOT by used on a Holiday (12/27/2020 - 1/3/2021) NYE sailing aboard Allure? I called to book today, and was not aware there were exclusions. If someone has the list of exclusions, could you please share ?? Thanks ! As far as I know you can take any 7 to 9 days cruise as long it's not on the big holidays.
Ogilthorpe
I talked to Club Royale last week about this. The rep told me 8 days or fewer, and not on 8 holidays: New Year, President's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. WAAAYTOOO
I just read over on CC (so take it with a grain of salt) that the casino management has decided that if you had a casino comp cancelled, they will now replace it. What does that mean, exactly ? Who knows. Who even knows if it is true. I'm repeating scuttlebutt. Also, they have extended the expiration date of the 2020/21 annual tier comp until March 31, 2022. This one is a fact. I went online and see that both mine and Dan's tier comp cruises now show expiration dates of 3-31-2022. I am assuming that we will still get our usual annual tier comp like we always do on April 1, 2021, which will also expire on 3-31, 2022, but I'm guessing. I can't imagine that they would take away our annual cruise for 2021-2022. We plan on taking both of ours (2020/21) in 2020 and early 2021 so we shouldn't have any kind of abnormal overlap. It would be nice though if we can replace the comp cruise that they cancelled in May out of New Orleans. I'm not going to bother Michelle with this right now...she's taking this week off anyway. But I will ask her to check into it in a couple of weeks. I hope it's true !!!! Ogilthorpe
Ogilthorpe
@WAAAYTOOO thank you for this! I hadn't checked, but see that ours are extended until 2022 also. I'm conflicted: the flexibility is great, but I was liking that I was "forced" to add a booking before 3,/2021. Since status has also been already extended until 3/31/2022, I am wondering if we will be accumulating points until then for 2022-2023 status, or gathering points until 3/31/2021 for more advanced status for 2021-2022? This may still be a TDB WAAAYTOOO

This may still be a TDB I’d assume that like with hotel and airline status that has been extended, anything earned this program year will just go into the ether and not count towards next years program year. CrznTxn
The wife just talk to Club Royale and they told her they would now work on moving comp casino cruises to a different date. When we found out that our July cruise was cancelled at the last announcement we immediately called and cancelled hoping to get ahead of the curve on the refunds. Silly us, if we had waited we could have moved the cruise. Now they will not reinstate it and will have to wait for any future offers and our refund on taxes and port fees (three cruises down and one left standing in November). WAAAYTOOO
I had upgraded my May Majesty cruise so there should be a very small 125% FCC. I wonder if they will allow me to use that extra 25%. I really wasn't expecting to be able to use that certificate again so I really wasn't even thinking about it. Now....just wonder how they will handle any comps that have been upgraded.
