KJ1231
This seems really odd.... Last July we booked an Alaska cruise for 5/15/20. I purchased $500 of OBC using credit card points. I kept waiting and waiting for it to appear in the cruise planner. I called a few times and they kept saying it would get applied later. When the trip was canceled it had still never shown up in the planner. When I called for OBC status they said I could apply it to another reservation. So we booked the free casino cruise a couple weeks ago. Having a new reservation number I called to get the OBC reward added and within 48 hours it shows up in the cruise planner. So I'm happy to see the $500 show up. But why after 9 months did it never show for the Alaska cruise? It's almost as if they knew the cruise would be canceled.... mworkman
We did the same thing for our Alaska cruise on 5/29/20, the only thing that I can tell is that if you filled out the request via online and submitted it, it doesn’t take affect immediately in the system. However if you call to have it added, that process shows almost immediately. KJ1231 and Baked Alaska

We have had the same experience as mworkman. If I want to use the OBC for Cruise Planner, I call to have it applied. Otherwise, I don't see it until I am onboard the ship. SpeedNoodles
With the Royal Caribbean Card it's normal for the OBC to show up shortly prior to sailing. Like others have said, you have to call to have it applied earlier. It had nothing to do with whether they thought the sailing was going to go through or not. But I called 3 or 4 times over the 9 months. They could see the transaction but could not apply it? Oh well - I’ll call from now on.... SpeedNoodles
So does anyone remember if there's a Bank of America Cruise Reward phone number to call to have your redemption applied to your account sooner than a few days before sailing, or do you just call the general Bank of America number? I haven't been able to find a number to call about the Rewards themselves, but I may be missing something.

I haven't used it for a couple of years, but it should be the same. USCG Teacher, SpeedNoodles and Mrs. RoyalMoyal 2
