Sara3711
We were supposed to go on independence of the seas On April 18th of this year obviously that's not happening now. The dates that will work in February of next year, Independence does not have a sailing that works with us. Anyone have any inside info on other ships that have all the same features as Independence as we have been planning our cruise on independence and all of the activities that go with it. Thank you
WannaCruise
Mariner is very similar with Sky Pad, waterslides, Laser Tag and then standard stuff such as Flowrider, rock wall, ice rink, etc It is a bit smaller though so no additional kids pool/slides. twangster
No two ships are absolutely and 100% identical but Freedom is very close. Independence is part of the Freedom class of ships. Any of the Voyager class that have been AMPED like Mariner and Navigator offer a similar experience but these ships are slightly smaller so the Promenade doesn't have everything found on Freedom class (Indy). They do have ice skating and water slides. Freedom class is a stretched version of Voyager class so imagine taking Voyager class and adding a section in the middle. The rest of the ship is very similar between Freedom and Voyager class.
Matt
I think Mariner's refurb more closely resembles Indy's upgrades, despite the structural differences that @twangster mentioned.
