Mrs. Thomas
Hello all! I was just listening to the new vid and realized that I forgot about the boarding order. I am the only person in my group at gold status because they have never cruised before. We are divided up into 2 rooms. How does the boarding work for this? Will I need to just hang back with them? Or will those in my room get to go with me? My kiddos are going so I'm not a fan of leaving everyone behind. TIA
Stacey
Our first cruise was last year with another couple who had a separate room and we walked right on with them. Could of been the port we were at Ft. Lauderdale. But there wasn’t any one waiting to board every one just walked on as they arrived. WAAAYTOOO
Even if you decide to hang back with the noobs, it will not mean more than a few minutes’ difference in boarding time. It’s not really that big a deal.
Atlantix2000
And the difference in boarding time will only exist if you are there and checked in before boarding starts. They only use the boarding order at the beginning when people are actually waiting. After that, you check in and just walk onto the ship. RCIDreamer96
I was gold and our friends were first-time cruisers. We just walked on when they were called and hung back with them. They won't deny your entry once they call for general boarding, at that point it's just whoever is in line! Safe cruising
