Neesa
While we are comfortable driving to Port Canaveral the same day as a sailing, Port Everglades we feel would be a more comfortable start to the sailing if we arrive the evening before. We will jump in the car after school in Tampa for a sailing the next day, we would be at the hotel literally just to sleep in proximity of the sail date. Would you be so kind as to share your favorites? Does not have to be fancy but must be safe & clean. We leave cruise luggage in the vehicle and just bring in an overnight bag, thanks all! RWDW1204
Embassy Suites 17th street is our go to. Or any others ones in that area depending on your brand loyalty. Publix shopping center and multiple restaurants right there too. 5 -10 minutes to port if parking there. Neesa and RCIDreamer96 1

We always stay at Hyatt Place 17th St Convention Center. Perfectly located, restaurants and shopping near by, plus the sun trolley to the beach if you are so inclined. CFL
We stayed at the Best Western Plus Oceanside Inn on Seabreeze Blvd. It's a minute walk to the beach, very reasonably priced, and breakfast was included. It was great to take a walk on the beach both in the evening and before heading to the port in the morning. About a 10 minute walk up Seabreeze Blvd, there were restaurants and shops. Matt
I recently stayed at the Cambria Suite in Dania Beach. For the money, I thought it was fine for one night before a cruise. Neesa
