LaurenLewie
We are leaving on symphony on Saturday 4/18. We are flying into Orlando the night before and driving to Miami. What is the earliest we can arrive at the port? Even if we can’t check in yet- we don’t mind waiting around. Just trying to avoid getting a hotel for what would only be ~6 hours or so. thanks! AshleyDillo
The port typically "officially" opens at 10am for incoming passengers but they may have the waiting area ready prior to that. If you show too early the port will be a mess with all of the disembarking passengers still trickling off of the ship. LaurenLewie
RCIDreamer96
I did this last May: We drove from Orlando VERY early and arrived at the terminal around 10am, and then waited until 11:30 when we were called to board. They have a waiting area with ice water and vending machines, and we sat and talked while we waited. They have the entrance/gangplank/boardwalk blocked off for incoming cruisers until 11am when they call you by C&A status. I'm not sure if this is your first cruise, so if it is, I recommend packing a bathing suit, a change of clothes, and sunscreen since your stateroom won't be available until 1-ish. Safe cruising!
