raprice18
The new VOOM packages are coming up in the Cruise Planner for my Liberty of the Seas sailing on May 29, 2016. Can anyone confirm Liberty actually has VOOM now? Thanks
PRC
It did not as of the end of February, but if it is showing as available in the cruiseplanner, I would think it was there. ...Of course, they could always pull an "Empress" and leave everyone hanging... ;) WAAAYTOOO
DocLC
The Hotel Director announced that it was coming in May when I was onboard the last sailing prior to drydock. I've seen this reported elsewhere since as well. Matt
Wilson
Just checked our April 24th planner and Voom is not offered.
DocLC
Ironically, Voom is being offered on the Serenade in Northern Europe this summer even though the Serenade has yet to be outfitted with Voom and the fact that it is supposedly a North Ameican/Caribbean product. It started that way but quickly became a offer across the Fleet.. Q: What ships have VOOM (High Speed Internet)? A: Oasis Class and Quantum Class all have high speed internet in the Caribbean, Mediterranean or Asia. High speed internet is not available during transatlantic crossings and repositioning sailings. raprice18
Thanks for the feedback everyone. Will wait and see if any reports come back over the next few sailings
sulross
As of today,Voom is not on the Liberty. It is scheduled to be installed in May. It will not be the full version of Voom, but a slightly lessor version. Supposedly the signal is stronger on the east coast and gets weaker further west. But, it will be many times better than what we are used to.
raprice18
Will be interested in seeing how this works, since both the streaming and non streaming packages are available in my cruise planner. Matt

They're actually calling it Voom on the Serenade and billing it as the fastest internet at sea. I'm guessing a lot of people are going to be disappointed by this mistake when they board. That is either a mistake on the website or Serenade is quietly getting Voom. Call me crazy, but I think it's the former. DocLC
AdventurerMom
They're offering Voom for $9.99 for one device on the May 15 Liberty of the Seas. Matt
cgsent
I have an offer for 30% off the voom for my liberty sailing on 5/22. Also 20% off the select drink package
raprice18
I called RC because the 20% off select was showing up in my Cruise Planner also. Was told that the Premium and Ultimate are also at 20% off.
Wilson
Last night our reservation was locked out after midnight. Hoping they are offering drink pkg discounts once we board, but not holding my breath. Did just check our Nov Liberty cruise and they had 30% of Voom. Went ahead and purchased the unlimited surf & streaming. $88 total is not too bad for 7 nights.
