Joe01
Looks like I'll be heading to Oasis for the July 4th sailing. I'm personally very excited as the ship seems to be looking great after her refurb. It was between Adventure & Oasis and I imagine that AD is probably showing her age a bit (might be an option for next year in the Baltic though...) Anyone sailed on Oasis since her amplification? What did you think of her?
WAAAYTOOO
She is beautiful, Joe ! The amplification was just what Oasis needed. Good choice. darketower, brianmorris, JohnK6404 and 2 others 4
Klb
I loved it too, cruised in January. Loved new outdoor deck in solarium, Portside BBQ delicious as was El Loco Fresh, Playmakers was great too, indoor or outdoor seating. Missed the Champagne Bar though, no wine or bourbon at Bionic bar. JohnK6404 and brianmorris
brianmorris
Has anyone done the guacamole making class since Sabor was removed? I see it on the cruise planner and am considering it but not sure.

You watched the person make it, learned how to make it and then given the recipe. Baked Alaska and brianmorris 1

We booked three of us, including our son, who LOVES guacamole. We were a bit disappointed to find out that the class isn't participation at all, it's basically a demonstration. No one from the class will actually make guac, you'll watch the waiter at your table make it, and then they give you the recipe to take home after. You do get all the guac, a great meal and a margarita out of it, so for the fee it's still worth it in that sense. Had I paid more attention to the description I probably would have known this going in to it, so I don't blame Royal at all, we had just hoped it was something different and didn't realize it. Mikeb1892
@brianmorris... this was also in the thread... I find this odd. Our experience with this on Freedom was completely the opposite. Each group/couple had all of the ingredients in separate containers on the table while the server/instructor gave tips on how to utilize the different ingredients to suit our tastes. He also tutored us on making some superb Margaritas and print outs of the guacamole and margarita recipes were provided after the included lunch. All in all, it was a very good experience. brianmorris
MarcBerger
Can't wait to get on and see it March 1st! I was on ALLURE back in November 2019, so I can't wait to see the differences with OASIS! Portside BBQ and Playmakers especially!
