Wilmsta
Hi folks, hope everyone is well. Can anyone advise if our 20 year old son is allowed in the casino and night clubs (on a Caribbean cruise - I know it’s different over here in Europe). He’s not a drinker so no issue there, but he would like to go into the casino with us (understand he can’t gamble) and the night club with his older brother etc Thanks in advance Adam
Dragon66
I have read on RCCL website that once in international waters and the casino opens that 18 year olds can enjoy the casino if they want. Not sure about nightclub admittance. Edited February 9, 2020 by Dragon66 additional comment Wilmsta

Wilmsta
Friend just advised me that he thought minimum gambling age on RC was 18 - I assumed it was 21 like alcohol min age etc Can anyone confirm?
Va4fam
Our 17 and 20 year old went to the casino to play slots every night on our December cruise. We didn't know until 2nd to last day of cruise. They said no one from RCI monitored or asked them for ID. Not sure if that helps.

I had a look here on the RC UK website and it says 18 or over for gambling - just don’t know if that’s the same all over! I thinking it is...fingers crossed! teddy
Only things a person has to be 21 for are drinking alcohol and boarding alone. There is even a sign in the casino saying all guests over 18 are welcome. My 19 year old went to all the venues with and without me. He participated in all kinds of things at the various bars/clubs and was even a team captain at Quest.

I did see a young man asked for his ID once, but that was a few years ago. Wilmsta
FroggyFlo
I posted the same question last summer (about a Carribean cruise on Harmony). The answer I got is straightforward: a 18-year-old can do EVERYTHING on board but drinking alcohool. This includes eg gambling and adult shows. FroggyFlo
The ONLY reason not to book a cruise might be money shortage... KristiZ
