MichWild
We are arriving in GC at 7:00am. What time should I expect to be at the port? I am looking at setting up a independent dive trip as the RC trips are sold out.
CruisinUpinLife
Here is a recent 12/31/2019 Cruise Compass from Adventure of the Seas for GC to help you. Of course this is all subject to change time wise but this should give you an idea:

teddy
The announcements onboard will be the most up to date regarding when the ship is cleared and when the gangway is open. We were there a few days ago (on Adventure). We had an 8:15 meeting time for our excursion. The tickets mentioned a 45 minute rendering process, so I was a bit concerned. There was an early bird tendering process between 7 and 8. That meant that no tickets were required to get on the tender. After 8 am, tickets were handed out in the Imperial Lounge on deck 5. Tickets don't cost any money. We arrived in port at 7ish and the announcements asked that people NOT queue up on the stairs. They asked people to wait in lounges or on outside decks no lower than deck 4. We waited outside on deck 4 until the announcement was made that the gangway was open. We were off the tender and on the pier by 8.
Jami112
Follow Up question, we are sailing on Indy and also stopping in GC in April. If we've purchased "The Key" do you know if you have to get a tender ticket? Or can you just show up and expect the next tender?
fonemanbob
A couple of IF`S. If it lays anchor on time. If their is no fog. Have had 2 no tender experiences. One was too windy. And the other was heavy fog. You just don`t know .

One of the perks of The Key is priority tendering, so if you must get a ticket, you will get one of the first numbers. I’m sure someone will give you information and directions but if you somehow miss getting that information, go to guest services prior to reaching GC and they will let you know when and where to muster.
