Luggage Tags and Debarkation

Helloooo!

I am doing a 3 nighter on Navigator of the Seas out of MIAMI. Luggage Tags have number 9 on them. We are booked in a Junior Suite.  Purchased the Key. Flight leaves out of FLL at 1130am.

Can someone explain the meaning of the luggage tag number in relationship to how fast we can disembark please?

How fast can I get off the ship with priority departure if I allow them to take my bags?

Thanks ?

If you are on the ship now, your cabin steward should have left instructions for disembarking that would tell you what time you can get off with luggage tag nine.

Im not on the ship now. Someone loaded a pic of the departure times by tag number which was very helpful. Thanks so much for responding.

Hi @JoyJoy.  You mentioned that you have the Key.  With the Key you will get priority disembark.  Your luggage tags will be marked as "Key" guests, not one of the numbered tags.  Your luggage will be in the specific area for Key guests, and you should be escorted off the ship.  We had the Key on Anthem out of Cape Liberty, and it was awesome for the disembark.  Hopefully you will have a similar experience in Miami.  Maybe someone else can add their experience out of Miami.  Have a great cruise!

If you are talking about the luggage tags in your cruise documents, the 9 should correspond to the floor that you are on.  This has nothing to do with the tags you get for getting off the ship.

You will get tags before the end of the cruise with the disembarkation instructions.  Since you have The Key, you should get tags that say The Key.  If you don't, make sure you bring them to Guest Services and exchange them for Key tags.

The Key should be among the first people they let off the ship after the self-assist folks.  Time can vary depending on ship clearance but you should be fine to leave the bags out and catch your ride to FLL (about 45 minutes) from Port of Miami.

The numbers are called in chronological order, so luggage tags with 1, 2 or 3 will be called first, then 4, 5, 6, then 7, 8, 9, et al.

So the lower your luggage tag number, the earlier your bags will be called.

Since your flight is at 11:30am, you should have plenty of time to make it to the airport, especially with luggage tag #9.
