Cancelled Excursion Refund

We are super impressed with the very fast refund on a cancelled excursion today.

We are in Labadee and our 1pm snorkeling excursion was cancelled due to rough water conditions.

We walked back to the ship and by the time we got there, the refund was showing in our folio.

I figured a good story would offset the few complaints we see here as well as reassure people who are concerned about their excursions being cancelled.

We have even experienced it where we got our money back on our account before we were even notified.  We had to go ask the desk why we got our money back and that was when we found out about the cancelation. It was when the ferry boats were exploding in Cozumel and RCCL cancelled all excursions that used the ferry.  We had to scramble to book a new one on the island instead which ended up being a lot of fun ?

Another good news story.  Cruised last August on Enchantment of the Seas out of Galveston.  Our first stop was going to be Costa Maya where we had a beach excursion planned.  When we got in the room we were welcomed by a RCCL notice warning us about the large amount of seaweed the beaches there were experiencing at that time.  We were disappointed and decided we really didn't want to fight seaweed while we were on the beach so we sent to the Excursions desk and inquired about a refund.

Immediately, the staff issued a credit to our account with no questions asked.  Incredibly impressed with the customer service and just another reason we stick with Royal Caribbean!
