DD6334
Will have a 1PM - 11PM Day in Port in Old San Juan next month on Oasis. First time visiting Puerto Rico. Plan on heading up to the Fort when we arrive, then wandering back to the ship. Does anyone have a recommendation for a place to grab dinner on the way back? 2 Adults 2 Children (8 & 9) ... all fairly adventurous eaters. Any local hidden gems or can’t miss favorites? Thanks! AshleyDillo
We enjoyed Raices while we were there: http://www.restauranteraices.com/English/ We hit it shortly when they opened for lunch and there was a line waiting out the door when we left. It was enjoyable but a TON of food!

Dan Curtis
If your not looking for an expensive meal place, we really enjoyed La Taberna Lupulo, I,just looked up the address, it's 151 Calle de San Sebastián. I,wrote a good review last year, we had 8 people, service was good, kind of a pub type place. Portions were large. CFL
DD6334
Thank you! Will definitely check out the review and add it to the options list. Sounds exactly the type of place we enjoy. Really appreciate it!
Gabe
I've been told El Hamburger is def worth a trip; going to check it out in a couple weeks while on Harmony.
DunkelBierJay
Avoid Barracchina...it's a tourist trap and the pina coladas are not up to billing...my experience, anyway
betatke1480
I agree with @DunkelBierJay about Barrachina. Puerto Criollo is a short walk from the downtown pier and had great food when we were there before NYE. In my opinion it was much better than Raices.
