@DDaley I’m intrigued by this Painkiller you speak of! Any idea which bar would most likely know the drink?

From my recollection, I have seen it on the Boleros Drink Menu.  Of course, after seeing the name, I *had* to try one.  The name made me think of Trader Vic's 'Fog Cutter". As he described (paraphrased) "fog cutter, heck, after 2 of these, you won't  even see the stuff".

my favorite drink to order is my next one.....

In all seriousness, though....Im not much for the expensive tropical sugar drinks.  From time to time, to stay in the spirit of things ill get a coconut rum and seltzer water, but my go to drink is the same on a ship as it is on land: Bourbon and Ginger Ale, with a lime.

My husband and I are generally beer drinkers, but on the cruise, all bets (and beers) are off!

My favorite drink is called Liquid Marijuana! I've only found two bartenders on the last 3 cruises who know how to make it. It was introduced to me by a bartender from Jamaica. Sure enough, on the last cruise ship, a bartender who was also from there knew exactly what I wanted.

Spiced Rum, Melon Liqueur, Coconut Rum, Blue Curacao, Sweet & Sour and Pineapple Juice.

Plus, it's fun watching the other guests jerk their heads toward you in curiosity when you order it. ?

My husband's goto is a Long Island, but he holds the tequila. Long Beach is also very good!

1. Blanton Bourbon

2. Merlot

3. Dark beer

4. See #1, then #2  and if all else fails #3

My DH ordered a Blue Moon (beer) at Chops when we had Embarkation day lunch back in May of last year. Waiter misheard, brought him Bourbon -- he decided to try it, although he's not a bourbon drinker, then had to tell the waiter, "Nope, I want my Blue Moon".  Luckily, we had the drink package, so it didn't cost him anything to try...
