Thx for continuing to keep up with the list Doc.

San Juan air is currently $490 pp round trip. I am using some miles for the Sept flights to reduce cost. The Sept was only $123 out of pocket. Haven’t booked Dec yet.

I need to accumulate more miles for the Dec ‘19 sailing.

Our next cruise is October 6th on the Anthem, cruising from Bayonne to New England and Canada. We (sister and I) have done this cruise twice before. Our other sister lives in Portland, so we meet up with her there and spend the day together, then we meet up again the next day in Bar Harbor. Then she heads back to Portland for work (poor thing!) and we head on up to Canada. We are also booked on the Anthem of the Seas Group Cruise for July 4, 2019 (cruise #21).

Between those two cruises we will be taking a river cruise from Amsterdam next April to see the tulips in bloom. It will be our third river cruise. Our first was on the Danube to visit the Christmas Markets in Germany and Austria. Then two years ago we cruised from Paris to the Normandy D-Day beaches and back to Paris. River cruising is completely different from sea cruising. On the Paris cruise there were 77 passengers so naturally the atmosphere was totally different. We enjoy both kinds equally well.

You're welcome. I fell a little behind because of work and my mom being in and out of the hospital, so everything was back to normal about a week ago until I was offered a promotion at work. As a result, things could get crazy again for me.

For San Juan, $490 does seem too bad. I think we were in the $600 range last time. Sadly, I was able to fly from Los Angeles to Paris for $550 R/T during the same time of year as when we went to San Juan. We plan on taking our nieces on the Freedom group cruise, so I'm not looking forward to that airfare bill. On the upside, MEI was able to get us a Promenade View Family Cabin at a really good price and it's huge--essentially two cabins made into one, so there are two bay windows, a bunk bed alcove, two sofas, etc. Just wish there were two bathrooms.

I'm so jealous. I fell in love with the Christmas markets in Marseille this past year when there for a winter Med cruise. My son is still a bit too young for a river cruise and is much in need and desirous of the kids clubs right now, but someday I hope to follow in your footsteps.

I'm headed to Amsterdam next month for the first time for a Norwegian Explorer cruise up into the Arctic Circle.

Hello all!

Been stalking the message boards for weeks as I plan my family's first cruise. Really appreciate all the insight on there (special thanks to Matt and team for being so awesome).

My husband, 3 year old son and I will be on Anthem of the Seas, Nov 25, 2018 out of NJ.  Looks like we will be the only ones from here on there so far! ?
