pacew
We need suggestions for trip insurance. We are over 14 days so we need a reliable choice that offers great coverage if purchased within 21 days of initial deposit. Thanks for any help. Who you select will depend upon the type of coverage you need. Consider any insurance you have through a credit card used to purchase the cruise, for example, and then add appropriate additional coverage. We've used Allianz as well as Royal's contractor. Allianz had better medical coverage, Royal has a special cancel for any reason rider (you do lose deposit if you decide too late). Matt has a podcast on the subject, and members have reported various companies in recent posts (check the last week). When visiting foreign countries with visa requirements, there may be specific requirements for medical coverage. Have a great trip! PS. When we used Allianz, we were able to file a claim for delayed baggage online. Some members opt for an annual premium with Allianz if they expect to take multiple trips. PPS. Matt
There are quite a few travel insurance options out there. Like car insurance, there is not just one option that fits everyone, so I'd price around. Allianz is well-regarded. FloatMe
pacew
Yes, we are. However, I hoped some may know off hand which are the ones that do 21 days. I’ve spent hours pricing already.
CrznTxn
We use GeoBlue. Their coverage is for 30 days.
Rod
Try insuremytrip.com and compare plans. We have used it about 5 cruises now.

Although we have never had to make a claim (thankfully), customer service over the phone has always been spot on when purchasing and the new online tools for purchasing are easy and intuitive. pacew
Thank you all! We ended up going with Roam Right mainly because we weren’t penalized for being over 14 days from booking. They give you up to 21 days.
