ARS
Thank you so much for your reply. Is it worth buying the package though? Currently the deal is for $20 per person , how much is it usually?

Currently the deal is for $20 per person , how much is it usually? For our Feb 2020 cruise the sale price is $22. $20 is a great price! In regards to "is it worth it".....that's kind of up to you. Depends how much you drink off of it. In my opinion the bottle water alone is worth it enough for us because we slam the water as much as we can everywhere we go. And of the course the fresh squeezed OJ!!! ARS
MikeSD
Here is a handy Drink Calculator created by one of our message board members. https://connect.calcapp.net/?app=9tts3#/ Keep in mind this is an estimation tool, so best to be conservative. I found that I was on the board line, but decided to go with the repurchase due to convenience and not having to worry about whether I can have a drink or not. The decision of whether its worth it is more or less like buy car/homeowner insurance, so do the calculator/math to best guide you. For comparison sake both the the drink package pricing on the Cruise Planner and this calculator do not include the gratuity. If you buy the drink package a separate line item for gratuity will be included in your shopping cart. This should not be an issue as you will get charged the 18% per drink if you buy your drinks without a package. ChessE4

Currently the deal is for $20 per person , how much is it usually? It depends what you drink and whether you have other fringe benefits (perks) with your stateroom or travel agent reservation. I for one would not drink $20 worth of non-alcoholic drinks each day -- I drink the free coffee and flavored water with the occasional espresso or soda purchase. I also drink the purified tap water and only take bottled water when I go on excursions (you can often purchase water for $1 a bottle in port). Other people guzzle bottled water or other covered beverages, and it is worth it for them. Remember there are combinations of internet and soda, which works for some folks, too. Whatever you choose, have a great cruise!

Currently the deal is for $20 per person , how much is it usually? For me the Refreshment package is worth it for the amount of specialty coffees and bottled water alone. At $20/pp/pd I'd not hesitate. I paid more than ($22 and $28) that on upcoming Mariner and Allure sailings and am not concerned I won't break even. The biggest benefits for me are having that portion of my vacation paid off ahead of time and not having to think about cost when ordering another coffee/soda/water/whatever.Tips I picked up here ChessE4
