Grass Clippings Posted November 4, 2019 Report Posted November 4, 2019 Hi to all, We will be doing our first cruise on the Symphony of the Seas over Christmas. Travelling from Australia for the opportunity. Can we bring a small Christmas tree to put in our room to put some presents under? Also what are other families doing while aboard for Christmas? Quote
ptod Posted November 4, 2019 Report Posted November 4, 2019 How big is a small Christmas tree? I would think a small table top size tree could work. I wouldn't do anything that would get in the way of the cabin steward tidying up the cabin for you. We have brought battery operated lights to decorate before without any problem. Happy cruising! KristiZ Posted November 4, 2019 Report Posted November 4, 2019 We're talking about a fake tree, yes? I have seen people with small (less than 1 meter) trees in their cabins before. But unless you're in a balcony cabin or larger the tree will really "take over" the space. Quote
AshleyDillo Posted November 4, 2019 Report Posted November 4, 2019 A small tree would be allowed. Just remember that cabin space is tight and there is limited tabletop space. You may want to get creative and consider an alternative such as a Christmas tree wall decoration that you attach with magnets (as the cabin walls and doors are magnetic!). KristiZ 1 Quote
Grass Clippings Posted November 5, 2019 Author Report Posted November 5, 2019 Thanks to everyone, I was only going to look at one that could fit in a suitcase. i do like the idea of using magnets. Will definitely bringing some of them. Quote
