Pick
Hi,,first time poster, we are on the Allure this Dec and are in cabin 14172, accessible room . Has anyone been in this cabin? My wife is afraid of motion sickness based on which way the bed faces, like riding backwards on a train. Would hope the bed is on the wall to the left so her feet would be facing fore while lying in bed. Have searched for pictures, videos or layouts, but none are room specific? Thanks, C&J
SpeedNoodles
I pulled this photo off of Cruisedeckplans.com and it it appears that the bed is along the forward wall. Honestly, I really can’t say that I’ve ever been able to tell what direction the ship is moving unless I’m looking out a window. Pick
Thanks, for some reason I thought when we booked it was forward facing, but I too believe that at night with drapes closed,(and a few cocktails)she’ never tell ....... MikeSD
I find the side-to-side roll motion drives more feeling of sea sickness. Deck 14 is the top cabin level (aside form the few on deck 16) so you will feel the roll motion more then say deck 8.
