KaydenDeen
Hello fellow cruisers! Headed to Grand Cayman at the end of November on ROTS and was wondering if any of you have been to Smith Cove. I’ve read that this no frills cove has better snorkeling and isn’t as crowded as the popular 7 Mile Beach. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated. I’ve heard it’s about 1.5 mile walk from the pier and there are not a lot of sidewalks en route to this place. Is this place worth the hike? Are there some places along the way to stop for picnic provisions? We’ve been to Grand Cayman before and have no interest in sting rays, resorts or shopping. Just looking for a relatively inexpensive excursion with fewer crowds. We’re in port from 7AM-3:30PM and am hoping to take the earliest tender possible. How soon after we dock can we expect to set foot on Grand Cayman? Thanks in advance!
