twangster
Welcome to the message boards! Take a look at this post for typical pricing on board. All prices in $USD. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/11704-drink-menu-2019/ Figure $7-$8 plus 18% gratuity. Really annoyed that RC don't do "beer only" drinks package anymore! RWDW1204 and NEbluebird
Spang1974
I was gonna quote the same. However I have yet to figure out if these menus change when sailing from the UK, Europe, or the Mediterranean.
Tommy
If the cruise is paid, gratuities included, is tipping still expected with each drink purchased?
Spang1974
Just now, Tommy said: If the cruise is paid, gratuities included, is tipping still expected with each drink purchased? Yes, it's automatically added to every drink purchase on board.
twangster
The daily automatic gratuity is for specific crew such as cabin attendant and dining staff. It doesn't cover bartenders and waitstaff in beverage positions. NEbluebird

Sadly their insistance on buying a package for every adult in the cabin amounts to a "fine" in my case! My wife will probably drink two nights of a 14 day cruise! Also I NEVER drink spirits! Mrs. RoyalMoyal
On Anthem out of Bayonne, Molson Canadien is offered.. but on Freedom out of San Juan it is not. The beer offered varies ftom ship to ship.... the Molson was in a large can, only in the Solarium, it was $8.00 plus gratuities. It was American Molson... distributed in the USA. My wife will probably drink two nights of a 14 day cruise! Also I NEVER drink spirits! They make you purchase it for all the adults in the room when you are onboard as well. You have to at least purchase the Refreshment Package for your wife. For the best prices do this before you get onboard. It does require a phone call to Royal to make the purchase to override the requirement of both having the Deluxe package. The Deluxe package was $89/day onboard my last cruise. It was regularly $49-$52/day in the cruise planner. Totally worth calling and getting your wife the Refreshment Package (which is typically $20-$22/day in the cruise planner). Well........I would have thought that was blindingly obvious! I was trying to point out that RC are not catering for all their passengers equally!!!
