Excursion recommendations for Alaska

The White Pass & Yukon train excursion in Skagway is highly recommended.  Its such beautiful place to be.  In Juneau, Mendenhall glacier is easy to get to even without an actual excursion.  Juneau itself is a nice walk with pretty good shops.

I didnt care of the Sled Dog camp excursion, I thought it was expensive for what you get out of it.

Nope! Not after about 5 minutes. They give you this awesome wetsuit that allows a small amount of water in, and doesn't allow it out. So your body just heats up that water, and you're good to go! Highly recommended!

Cool, that makes sense with the wetsuit.  What sort of things do you see snorkeling in Alaskan waters?
