TracieT.
Favorite place to swim, play in the sand, snorkel & explore in Labadee, that doesn't cost anything?
YOLO
Adrenaline Beach is free and is where we usually spend the day. Lounge Chairs are complimentary, just like on board. You can swim, relax, and watch the Dragon's Breath Flight Line riders right in front of you... TracieT.
JLMoran
Nellie's Beach and Columbus Cove are both free and also have complimentary loungers; they also have softer sand / no rocks in the water (unlike Adrenaline Beach, where water shoes are mandatory if you're going in the water). You have to walk pretty much all the way to the far end of the main path to get to Nellie's Beach, and Columbus Cove is all the way at the end. But Columbus is also usually the least-crowded because no one wants to walk that far! Nice thing about being at either beach is that you're also reasonably close to the alpine coaster and have a bar in between the two beaches. twangster
There is a free water shuttle to Columbus Cove directly from the pier, or take the free land based trams. I walk it to get my steps in, it's not that far really and a pleasant walk on level ground. I often enjoy Labadee with no additional costs involved. The snorkeling off the beach isn't that good at Labadee (vs. Coco Cay). I'd suggest an excursion if you really want to see a good natural reef. That's how I got hooked! Looking at your picture I would say you are fair skinned. So please bring some good sunscreen and use it often. If you haven't been to the tropics, the sun is different than the sun in Utah. You can fry quickly in the caribbean sun And just because you might not be in the direct sun you can still be burned from reflective rays from the white sand and water. Don.t mean scare you but be careful and have a great cruise. TracieT.
emfagan
We love Columbus Cove as it is more low-key and relaxed! TracieT.

Thanks for your concern!
Jared M.
When I went to Labadee, we liked Nellie’s Beach the best. It wasn’t as crowded as the nearby Columbus Cove. Also, Adrenaline Beach is super rocky, which can be a little dangerous. We collected lots of seashells while we were in Labadee as we found that they washed up on the shore of all the beaches on the private island. DJsMrs
Adrenaline beach is often quite windy - and I understand can be rocky. Columbus cove has lots of trees, shade, chairs, sun, food and bars nearby, it's sandy and the water is super calm (the three times we've been). But you could do 1/2 day at one, and 1/2 day at the other for a nice change of scenery TracieT.
