In addition to the daily gratuity, what would be a good amount to start with on the account (I don't drink)? And, can I bring US $ or do I need Euro's for the cash account? They usually allow you $300(or $500 on longer cruises I believe) balance owing before you are cut off and need to make a payment. To get any cash that is left, you need to go to guest services.....and usually on the last day. I have gone the night before late and always seems like "something" ends up getting added on by the morning and you have to go back down again...
