intinerary change/ shore excursions

Received an email stating that as a result of speed restrictions, we'll arrive in Paris (Le Harve)  France at 12:00PM instead of 10:00AM. it goes on to say that in the next few days their Shore Excursion Team will reschedule any Royal Caribbean impacted Excursions. I understand it's no fault of RC. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen, if so, did you have to pay the original price or the current price as it has almost doubled?

One of my port stops switched days entirely and Royal just switched my excursion for me to the new day.  I got a cruise planner cancellation notice and then a cruise planner confirmation notice of the rebooking.

If they are easily able to do this for your excursion they will.  It really depends on if the tour operator can accommodate the new time schedule.  If they can't reschedule then you will get a complete refund and will have to search for alternate plans for that port.

If your stay in port is similarly extended, there may be minimal impact.  No, they can't change the price on you if you've already booked the trip.  You'll be rescheduled or refunded.

In our last cruise we arrived in one port two hours later than originally scheduled and RCI consolidated three times for the same excursion into two while accommodating the time change.
