PhuckPhacha
Question - I'm reading the terms Matt posted for this sale to see if I should try to reprice a 7 day 4/2021 cruise in a JS. Many of the discounts for seem to apply to 2020 sailings only. But things like on-board credits don't appear to have a date range. Would this imply that some of the sale items apply to any sailing? Thanks in advance PhuckPhacha
Matt
The WOW Sale applies to select sailings departing on or after October 25, 2019.
Matt
In general, nothing to lose by re-pricing and seeing if this offer benefits you.

teddy
I pull up an incognito window and do a mock booking online. I usually do it weekly....but I'm a little cruise-obsessed. If the mock booking is less, then I call and reprice the cruise. On our cruise that is a couple weeks out, we were able to drop the price three times before we had to pay in full. On our one in January, we haven't seen any lower prices yet (and final payment is due soon). I factor in the amount of on board credit we could potentially lose when seeing it I want to call. The final time we repriced, we ended up only saving $25 when the loss of obc was factored in, but $25 is $25, so we went ahead and did it. Has it been proven that there is a price difference in standard mode vs incognito/private window mode?
teddy
Just now, RatedPG said: Has it been proven that there is a price difference in standard mode vs incognito/private window mode? I can't say to a certainty. My using incognito is because I have found price differences when researching flights. I could very well be superstitious and overly suspicious, KristiZ

CarlaB
Does anyone know if you can get OBC if the price drops past final payment? I have a TA so do I need to call them to see if Royal would give any extra OBC? My Nov. 16 Anthem sailing dropped a good $600 on balcony rooms with the current sale but we're already paid in full. Wondering if they would give any extra OBC in this case.

You might be able to upgrade if the price of an upgraded stateroom has fallen blow what you paid for yours, but the days of getting any rebate after final payment are long gone. Of course, you CAN still reprice your cruise after final payment but you would incur a cancellation fee (since a repricing is essentially a cancellation and rebooking) so it’s rarely cost effective to reprice after final payment. CarlaB
Thanks @WAAAYTOOO for the quick reply! I'd love to upgrade but looks like there's nothing left to upgrade to .Here's hoping my Royal Up bid gets accepted!
Spedteach
Sooo, I have been lurking on this site for about a month. We have booked our first (land/sea) cruise ever to ALASKA for next August. As a result of all I have read here I called RC and just saved Almost 400 dollars off the price of our cruise and received an extra $75 in OBC. The customer service people were fantastic! Jzx1103
Thanks for the heads up, had a Casino Royal comped JS offer that we originally weren't gonna use, but since you mentioned kids sail free, we snagged the last JS room available for the 3/2/20 Brilliance sailing, taxes and port fees only. We already have 3/8/20 comp Harmony booked, so it'll be our first back to back we've ever done. (Well kinda b2b). Can't wait till visit Cococay two weeks in a row WAAAYTOOO
