SteveinSC
Can anyone give a recommendation on the best place to park for the week in Tampa?
coneyraven
There's a port parking garage right across the street from the port ...... or, if you rent a car, you can drop it off at one of the nearby hotels and ride the trolley back to the port. Allen2
Parkway Parking. Multiple shuttles and only about a mile away.

Also, here are hotels that do park and cruise if you arrive the night before or want to stay the night after. The time we drove to Tampa, that is what we did. There is a website you can go to where you plug in the city and whether you are cruising or flying, etc.
Matt
Park at the port and splurge for valet parking. It's a fixed cost extra (I think $15) and makes embarkation and disembarkation so much easier. jagnew and SteveinSC 1

We stayed at the Embassy Suites (highly recommend) in 2015. The trolley stop is RIGHT THERE. made it to the port in minutes BUT when we returned, with ticket for trolley in hand, the trolley was not running until 11AM BOOOO...WALK back to Embassy suites to pick up a rental car... 20 minutes dragging luggage along the way. Not sure of the hours that the trolley runs ...... but as for a ticket? None needed ..... it's a FREE trolley
jagnew
I was going to suggest to look into the port valet, then saw Matt's already got it covered above. For the difference in cost on our 5 day trip in February, the added convenience was well worth it. Our prior trips we parked in the garage across the street, and that walk over with the bags post cruise is such a bummer.

Especially considering the mood, POST cruise.
