GeraldinetheQueen
What exactly is VOOM Internet? Where do you get it, how does it work? Is this RCL thing or is their internet different. I saw on a blog this was fast and only $15.00 a day. I got an email yesterday from RCL offering an internet pkg for $20.00 a day. Difference??? DocLC
Voom is high speed internet like you might have at home through a cable provider; however, it's only on select ships. And given the pricing, it sounds like yours may not have Voom yet. J_Keeble
Todd
From RCI web site: What ships have VOOM (High Speed Internet)? A: Oasis Class and Quantum Class all have high speed internet in the Caribbean, Mediterranean or Asia. High speed internet is not available during transatlantic crossings and repositioning sailings. Always have found it amazing how many people take so much time to post questions when the answers can be found faster online with a simple search. Always wonder why with Google we even have forums anymore. Forums allow for the posting of opinions and personal experiences with a group discussion format. Google and search engines allow for the checking of or learning facts. If you want to know the Gross Tonnage of a ship it is faster searching the web for that answer than posting in a forum. But if you want to know things like is the early dinning, late dinning, or MTD the best option when you consider other factors like shows, port calls, etc, then posting in a group like this allows for much more complete answers. Research vs. investigation two very important things with sometimes different goals but many times the same results. Always wonder why with Google we even have forums anymore. Well, for one thing, the rc website often contradicts itself like crazy or isn't updated. Secondly, because it is more fun to ask people, get their ideas and have a conversation. Even if it takes a little longer.
