Jayreb84
Sailing October 2019 on Serenade on 7 night cruise of New England and Canada. I have been doing my research and are planning on walking around in most of the ports but not sure how walkable St John is. Does anyone have experience with this itinerary? Thoughts? JLMoran
@twangster walked around St. John and put a good live blog of the day up.
twangster
As @JLMoran mentioned I was there last year. Saint Johns is very walkable with a nice walk along the waterfront to the reversing falls. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/9521-adventure-ots-13-night-snowbird-migration-quebec-to-ft-lauderdale-oct-8-2018/&do=findComment&comment=87555 I used my phone GPS that took me through town and residential neighborhoods on the way there only to find the nice riverwalk on the way back. Very walkable city. heffy2
heffy2
Your blog on that sailing is one of the reasons I booked The Anthem for late next month. I'm a bit worried about the weather, and I know the leaves will be well past their peak, but I can't wait!
FManke
St John is very walkable. About a two block walk into the heart of St John. A lot of shops, restaurants and bars with in a 4-5 block walk of the dock.
monctonguy
I live an hour from there...its very walkable...lots close to the port as mentioned. Weather will be cool usually with sunny days.....leaves will prob be gone, although they haven't even hardly started to change yet so depending on when you get here you never know.
