I believe so, I think it opened just a few days after it passed. Lola
GregD
Yes Coco Cay is open. No all activites are fully operatonal yet. We will be there nexr week and were advised by Royal that our booked Up Up and Away Helium ride will not happen. I am not sure about everything else though. twangster
Fully operational except for the Helium balloon. They had to drain all the helium off and store the entire rig. I suspect they may be holding off for the end of hurricane season to re-assemble it but that is speculation on my part. Mike P
SpeedNoodles
There's a global helium shortage, so it may take that much time to procure that much, lol SteveinSC and Mike P

It has been over 80 years since the last hydrogen based air ship disaster. I like those odds! coneyraven, SpeedNoodles and DDaley

Only things I noticed was that the snorkeling wasn't as good -- fish and coral destroyed by the hurricane--and there was seaweed that didn't exist in mid-May. So if you go to the Chill Island beaches, be selective about the cove you choose for swimming.
Matt
I was there on September 6 and it looked fantastic

klc317
We are going in about 18 days. Haven't been for a few years so it should be interesting to see although we aren't looking to spend a bunch of money extra for all the huge slides and stuff. Glad they kept the chill side. And the huge pool looks good to me.

Dan05
We were there 9/12 and everything was in good shape (other then the balloon not operating). We we're on Mariner and Navigator was in port as well. That was a bit of a surprise, and made it very crowded in the water park, but all of the facilities seemed to be in order. Royal Caribbean has done a great job with Coco Cay.

Worried about chairs because we have a large party.

I't seemed like we arrived and departed with in an hour of each other. The water park was busy, but the beach did not seem to be over crowded. We never made it to the oasis pool. Having two days at the island will probably help spread the crowd out a little more. Have fun!
