FionaMG
It's been reported over on CC that Odyssey has gone on sale in the last few hours. Currently, it appears to be available on the UK site but not yet the US site (I checked both). Inaugural is out of Fort Lauderdale on the 5th of November 2020. I wouldn't take conversion of those prices to USD as an indication of US price.

Yes, that is certainly true, but as I understand it, the person who gave that US price is actually seeing it on the Travel Agent's booking engine. At the current GBP/USD exchange rate, the price shown on Royal's UK website corresponds to $1828. Of course, there are the other factors to take into consideration, such as ABTA and EU (for the time being) protection, but that still seems like a massive difference. Agreed but also expect prices to be high. New ship fever. If anyone thought she would be priced just like an older ship, please step away from the keyboard. twangster
If I recall Symphony's first Miami based revenue cruise was short and crazy expensive. The pier at CocoCay wasn't finished so she couldn't stop there. No surprise that Odyssey's first revenue cruise from Florida is high price and short, just like Symphony. FionaMG
I suppose a shorter inaugural means less impact on passengers while the inevitable creases are being ironed out. I think some of the 8-night itineraries look quite interesting but I'm not sure I think they're sufficiently interesting to want to pay new ship prices for them. Lovetocruise2002
Something that I've been wondering and I don't even know if the answer is out there yet... Is Odyssey going to run the same Royal Suite Class program as Oasis and Quantum class ships? Or is it going to something totally different like what Spectrum did? It's almost $500 AUD more for a comparable itinerary on Symphony. I get the new ship fever... but it seems 'Ultra' expensive!

The UK website uses the same verbiage as Anthem for suites, even Royal Loft Suites so inconclusive at this point. It doesn't mention sea/sky/star. Deck 12 forward looks different but the UK site doesn't allow you see full deck plans. 2 minutes ago, Rose City Cruiser said: Photo thumbnail for 5nt Eastern Caribbean & Perfect Day shows Labadee zip line. Susie
I went on the inaugural sailing on Freedom Of The Seas once. It was really expensive at that time 2006. I'm thinking Royal figured they could get more out of aft rooms vs lofts. Would 16 rooms equal the value of the more lofts in terms of sales. Also sure that is why no aft conference center. Personally I'd rather seen the lofts on 9/10 vs 8/9. That way they could have a buffer from Two70.

Starboard one is Splashaway Cafe other Sorrentos. Remember where Cafe Promenade is located is Sichuan Red on Spectrum (also noticed Odyssey shows a Starbucks vs La Patisserie). If it is the "Sorrentos" space, that would be a very small CK. Wild card, aft of WJ. Spectrum has a venue call The Hotpot. Odyssey plans don't show anything.
