Lakew92
I am a spray sunscreen kinda gal. Should I be putting it on in my cabin or is it acceptable to put it on at the pool. I don’t want to smoke anyone out with my spray nor do I want to get it all up in my cabin.. would love thoughts on this topic
Momof4crazytocruise
Probably not the best idea, but we put ours on in the shower! We like the spray too, and that seemed like the best option to keep it contained. Only downside is it took a while to air out the scent. sk8erguy1978
Being Irish I put a base coat of lotion on before leaving the cabin ... If for some reason I use spray in the cabin it's on the balcony. As far as spray outdoors, I do it the same as I would at the beach ... Do my best not to spray anyone else but know it's sometimes unavoidable. Just keep moving with the wind LOL.
ransrider
Remember to protect our reefs and choose a sunscreen without oxybenzone or octinoxate if you plan on going into the water. Google: Reef-protecting sunscreen. I am also an Irish ginger by heritage and have just begun to research this topic since we go to Hawaii every year and beginning in 2020, proper sunscreen must be used. Sure is expensive, though. If you find a less expensive solution, please let me know. RazorbackIslandGirl, SpeedNoodles and Bongo1
monctonguy
is this even a thing?? This has never even crossed my mind.......and I cruise and travel all over the Caribbean for the past 15 years. Millions of ppl do this every year on cruises....resorts....etc. Don't worry about it..... Put it on wherever you like.....outside is probably better than inside as there is air movement......common sense is you try NOT to spray ppl with it but... Also.....if anyone would like to send me $ to use "proper" sunscreen...feel free...until then...my god, they should just ban travel and vacations period..its all bad for the world and killing things so.... WAAAYTOOO
I definitely do NOT recommend that you apply spray-on sunscreen inside anywhere. It will choke you out (experience speaking). Go out onto the balcony if you have one or find a place on deck where you will offend as few as possible. If you do go out on your balcony to apply it, be sure and shut the door into your room first !
HeWhoWaits
Spray it on in the smoking area on deck. Might help the aroma in the area. SpeedNoodles, Baked Alaska, ChrisK2793 and 1 other 1

VinceC
I heard that when going to certain islands, like Labadee, some have suggested a Jellyfish protector Sunscreen. Is this something that we should be worried about?
