Table game minimums on Anthem

Recommended Posts

For anyone on Anthem recently, what were the table minimums for games in the casino? I'm mostly interested in roulette but good to know in general for any game.

I'm trying to figure out how much gambling I'll do on our upcoming trip. We haven't sailed in a while. I think the minmums were $10 on our last sailing.

Hi, @TheRoyalOs, welcome to the forums!

Craps and Blackjack often have a $5 minimum on Anthem, although this also impacts the odds you can take in Craps (only single odds) and the Blackjack payout (6:5 instead of 2:1). To get proper 2x odds at the Craps table you need to bet at least $25 on the opening pass line; same minimum bet to get 2:1 on blackjack IIRC.

Can't help you with roulette as I don't play it. Pinging @WAAAYTOOO, who is a regular player in the casino, as she might know that number and can also tell you the antes / blinds for Texas Hold'Em.

A couple of weeks ago on Symphony you only had to bet $15 a hand for 3/2 blackjack. For craps it was a $25 line bet for double odds, but if you went to 15 instead of 10 on the line they would let you bet 20 in odds on the 5 and 9 and 25 on the 6 and 8. So I started betting 15 for the better odds and just press up to 25 on hot rolls.

If I recall (almost a year) Texas Holdem didn't have big blinds (well it had a big blind ;)) they were something like 1/2, 1/3, 2/4 ... Nothing to break a bank... However, only one table and it was usually crowded and of course the same people playing every night. No signup that I recall, just stand around and wait, however, make it known you want an available seat to dealer/table or someone might sneak in before you. (That has always been my experience anyway).

Roulette if I recall was also a $5 or $10 minimum.

I'll pay closer attention in September.
