The Enchantment Facebook page is all abuzz with word that they are cancelling several cruises for Enchantment next March and April. Possible dry dock? Something else? My February cruise *appears* to be safe, just curious if y'all have heard anything?

Our Enchantment June 2020 sailing has been cancelled, we got notification last week.

So my cancellation now that I read the letter was that the ship was chartered. (Disappointing to hear it may not be a dry dock, I had heard that the Enchantment was for sale tho- May be a rumor) They offered the following:

Dear Travel Partner,

We are reaching out to let you know that, regrettably, we have to cancel our Enchantment of the Seas June 26th, 2020 cruise, as it has been chartered. We know this news is disappointing and apologize for the impact to your clients' vacation.

We want every aspect of their vacation to be enjoyable. So, we've put together some alternate options that we hope they will take advantage of.

Option 1: Re-book one of the following 2020 sailings onboard Enchantment of the Seas departing from Galveston, Texas on a 5-nightWestern Caribbean itinerary

  • May 29th or July 24thsailing to Costa Maya, Mexico and Cozumel, Mexico.
  • June 3rd or July 1stsailing to Yucatan (Progresso), Mexico and Cozumel, Mexico.

No matter what sailing you choose, we know you'll have an amazing time eating great food and visiting beautiful ports. With miles of rugged coastlines, culturally enriching tours, delicious local cuisine, and plenty of shopping options, there's a destination just for you! We are sure you'll find your perfect getaway!

What they'll receive:

  • Their original stateroom category will be price protected at the original cruise fare rate, excluding taxes, fees, gratuities, and other non-cruise fare items.
  • They'll receive a credit to spend onboard per stateroom: $100 for Interior, Ocean View, and Balcony staterooms | $200 for Suites
    • Plus, an additional $50 for each third or more guest to spend onboard
  • And, they'll be reimbursed for non-refundable airline charges with receipts (up to $200 per guest for Domestic flights and up to $400 per guest for International flights).
  • You'll receive protected commission plus $50 Bonus commission.

Option 2: Re-book any other Royal Caribbean International sailing and receive the following:

  • A credit to spend onboard per stateroom: $100 for Interior, Ocean View, and Balcony staterooms | $200 for Suites
    • Plus, an additional $50 for each third or more guest to spend onboard
  • And, they'll be reimbursed for non-refundable airline charges with receipts (up to $200 per guest for Domestic flights and up to $400 per guest for International flights).
  • You'll receive protected commission.

Option 3: If they choose to cancel, we'll be sad to see them go

  • We will process a full refund of any paid portion of their cruise fare to the original form of payment, including any non-refundable deposits. Please note, if they choose this option, we will not provide additional compensation, including air reimbursement.
  • You'll receive protected commission if the booking is paid in full only.

It's important to us that your clients find the best vacation option. One of our destination experts will call you starting August 1st to help find their perfect cruise. If we happen to miss you, please call us back by August 15th, 2019 at 888-281-9344. If we haven't heard from you by August 15th, their reservation will be cancelled.

Please note, unnamed groups with no payment applied will not qualify for the alternate options provided.

Lastly, any pre-paid amenities, packages, or shore excursions will be refunded to the original form of payment within 7-10 business days.

Thank you for your support and partnership. We hope your clients find another cruise vacation with us. Whether they are celebrating a special occasion or looking to explore, relax, and recharge - we have no doubt their time with us will be nothing short of amazing. We look forward to welcoming them onboard.

Sincerely,

Aurora Yera-Rodriguez

The email I saw said something different...

There's been a change in our itinerary planning, and we've decided to combine a few of Enchantments' shorter sailings to create a more immersive experience, including additional ports.
