dimysmith
I just received a flyer for booking a room through the Casio Line. Are the prices that much better than the current sales.
cobra614
Did you try a mock booking to compare the rates?
WAAAYTOOO
The casino discounts aren’t as good as they used to be but they still beat full fare
Rob&Ana
Can anyone book thru them or do you have to be Prime or up? I have gotten a few $100 vouchers from the Casino but never been able to use them....
YOLO
@dimysmith Sorry, but what is "Casio Line"? Google isn't helping with this. Is it a phone number, website, what? Thanks...

Just curious to see what kind of deals can be had if I start gambling!
AshleyDillo
You earn points based on gambling and with that you get casino loyalty rewards. I'm not well versed on the program as I don't gamble enough to pay attention, but from what I have seen you get rated based on your level of play. You earn that rating through the "qualification period" and then you basically keep that rating for the next qualification period and get to use the benefits, You have to continue playing to maintain your rating or it could drop to a different level. The levels and rewards are outlined here: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/content/dam/royal/resources/pdf/casino/casino-royale-rewards-table.pdf They also have offers that aren't directly tied to ratings that you could be eligible for just because you happened to gamble the right amount on the right cruise at the right time. You never know...they usually offer a free cruise certificate during every cruise if you earn X number of points during that cruise. You can find general information at https://www.royalcaribbean.com/experience/cruise-casinos and I'm sure some of the other experts can chime in as well! YOLO
@AshleyDillo Wow, thanks for these links and info. I just book marked this page. The casino loyalty program seems pretty comprehensive. I'll read up on this and plan my gambling strategy. I would never become a high roller, but maybe there is some fun and value there for me. Some OBCs would be nice... Sushitex
I am no expert (not even a gambler) but the casino host on the Liberty provided dh with a brochure ( that included the chart as seen in the previous post ) when he was getting close to the 2400 point mark. Btw, dh also received a certificate good for $300 off a cruise, but it’s now invalid because we booked the free cruise instead (as per Casino Royale, you can’t use both certificates.) I believe that you can even apply points towards your folio - that might be a good option if you didn’t earn enough points for the free cruise certificate or don’t want to use a “discount “ certificate. An active Facebook group for Casino Royale patrons is available— dh and I have learned and read quite a bit of information regarding the casino club over there. You just request to join. My experience so far, with both this message board, and that FB group, is that people are usually willing to answer your questions. They love to talk casinos and cruising! WAAAYTOOO
Anyone who is a Club Royale member can book through the casino (you automatically become a member when you put your seapass card into a slot machine or have the dealer scan your card at a table game). From what I understand, unless you are at least Prime level, the casino prices are not significantly different from regular prices. In other words, I believe you are unlikely to get much of a discount as a Choice player HOWEVER, there are some exceptions to that "rule". When the Cuba ban first happened, they had a LOT of rooms to fill from cancellations and it is my understanding that even some of the Choice players got offers for those sailings. Obviously, the higher you are in the program the more offers you receive and the more lucrative they become. Prior to 1 April 2019 (the start of the new CR "season") the upgrade rates were excellent. Since April, not so much. They still save you money but not like last year. YOLO
