Joni
I really hope somebody can help. I am so very confused about purchasing and redeeming on board credit so my best guess. I booked a cruise through Royal Caribbean on July 8th, 2019. It was paid for completely on that day. The departure date for my cruise is August 24, 2019. I have read the terms and conditions over and over again and I still do not understand it! I believe that today or tomorrow is 30 days since I purchased my cruise. However, I am not leaving to go on my cruise for 16 days. I keep reading that you have to redeem the onboard credit within 14 days of purchase. What does this mean? I have to us it within 14 days? If someone understands what I am asking could you please help. Thanks in advance
Jim82Mac
You have to redeem with Club Royal within 14 days. If your 30day is today or tomorrow, you need to go into the MyVEGAS app, cash out the credits for what you’re looking to get and email them based on the instructions. They will give you a redemption code. You email that code, along with your name, C&A number, reservation number, birthdate (I think), ship and sail date. They are pretty quick. I’ve done it twice and have heard back from them within a day. Don’t wait any longer though. cdixon22

Joni
Thank you very much! As soon as I. Got the first response I went onto myVEGAS and purchased a $100 onboard credit and the $50 onboard credit. I then replied to the emails just like you said and the next day I got the $100 onboard credit. They said I could not redeem to rewards for the same booking. So thank you very very much for your help I now have an extra $100 to spend.
YOLO
@Joni & @Jim82Mac Hi and welcome to the RCB forums! I've heard a lot about myVegas rewards, which per google says it is affiliated with MGM and M life. Is it worth playing these games to get rewards for free stuff? Thanks... Thanks, it has been for me. In the past I’ve used the Rewards for comp rooms and free food in Vegas. I have recently used the rewards for Royal. Next May I have a cruise out of Vancouver and redeemed some reward credits for $100 in on board spending. This $100 showed up in my Cruise Planner for use almost immediately after contacting Royal to redeem the offer. Very much worth it. Free money for a little bit of time. Just set a bet and place it on auto spin and go on about your day. YOLO
monctonguy
I have ye to cash any in..but I have 1.1 million points....which can be used towards quite a bit of OBC or a "free' cruise if they ever post those again.... Takes a bit of time..but free so worth it.....accumulated that in about 4 months..so not bad. I did get lucky with a huge free coin offer a cpl mths ago which really got me up there, but for a free game that's fun to plan imho...why not get some free stuff as a bonus! It takes very little effort and costs nothing (as long as you don't fall prey to buying any more coins!) Doesn't take long to rack up enough for a $50 OBC. amanx
You CAN redeem 2 awards for the same booking- if another occupant if your cabin is also a myvegas player with their own acct. The OH and i both did this yesterday, so 2x100 OBC monctonguy
monctonguy
Now if they would just bring back some free cruise options or the $250OBC.....of course none of these options have shown up since I have accumulated enough points to take advantage! DeadPhish
I was able to get the $250 OBC offer a year or two ago. Tried to do it again, but there was some catch each other time. Still worth trying.

If I could make a guess after years of playing, expect to see them come again sept/October, and expect the prices to go up as well. I'd say starting at 1.5-2 mil. Of course there is also a chance that they do NCL this round, or God forbid, Carnival. Though those prices would range from 600K-1mil.

Lol Yeah....it sucks too cause such a small window to redeem them....we will be booking multiple cruises next year but with like a 30 day window to cash these in, chances are the timing wont work....something is better than nothing but..lol
