TXcruzer Posted August 4, 2019 Report Share Posted August 4, 2019 I was on Freedom 2 weeks ago. We arrived at the terminal around 10:45. We dropped off our bags and had check in completed by 11:15. We had a seat in the waiting area until about 11:40 when they raised the gates and began boarding. We had a great cruise and I am sure you will as well. Boarding starts as soon as the previous guests are all off the ship and it is cleared by for new boarding. That time varies for tons of different reasons. You don't have to stick to what the boarding time is on your SetSail pass..you can enter the terminal as soon as it opens. You will just have to wait for boarding to get on the ship..I've seen people report that being as soon as 10:30am for San Juan..and sometimes closer to noon.
