Lovetocruise2002
One reason that I love the Intercontinental Miami is their Club level rooms which give you access to their Club Lounge. Happy Hour and Breakfast are complimentary here in the club lounge. The hours are 5-7pm and 7-11am. Here are the selections for Happy Hour tonight: Mini sliders Chicken Croquette Chicken Wings Specialty coffee Make your own cocktails My pre-dinner snack: The wings were so good I went back for seconds on those. Needless to say, we were stuffed by the time we actually headed out for dinner. ellcee, cruisestuff, Skigoofy and 11 others 10 1 2
Lovetocruise2002
Pre-cruise dinner: No La Bamba? No problem! Find another substitute just like in NYC After searching long and hard through TripAdvisor and Yelp, we ended up a a little place near South Beach. About $11 for Lyft there and $15 on the way back. Tequiztlán Mexican Restaurant & Tequila Bar What can I say? Great drinks, tasty food, tequila choices like you would not believe! We still give La Bamba the slight edge but this place is very close. I have come to the conclusion that this should be our pre-cruise meet up for our “Super Unofficial Allure GC 03/14/21” Tequila anyone? Food menu: Dessert menu: Polanco Margarita: Already stuffed from the Club Lounge, we opted to share an appetizer and an entree. Guacamole and Chips made table side. So fresh and flavourful! Chicken Fajitas Fried Ice Cream. One each, of course I believe that @CGTLH wanted a shot of Clase Azul Ultra. I was not willing to do it for research purposes, even with claims of being “the greatest experience” so I suppose that @CGTLH or maybe @Matt can try it when they YOLO and book Allure and we will be there to witness the life changing experience Calling it a night as I have been up since 3am Skigoofy, JLMoran, Guy Gadwa and 8 others 9

Skid
4 minutes ago, MamaShark said: The top of the bottle is a functional bell...yes? no? I do not know--no bell mentioned--they talk in detail about the decanter, but no mention of a bell that I saw. Here is the rest of the description that I put part of before (from this website It represents a collaborative effort to produce the "Best of the Best" from Mexico: the best Tequila presented in a stunning, hand-crafted decanter. Only 100 bottles have been produced. Of which, 50 will be available in the U.S. market starting in May, 2007. According to Mr. Lomeli, the founder and master distiller, there are Five elements that make Tequila ULTRA so exceptional: 1. Hand-selection of the highest quality Weber Blue Agaves that are aged to perfection for 9 years, 2. Slow cooking of the Agave Pinas for 48 hours in brick ovens, 3. Fermentation with a special, proprietary yeast strain created specifically for ULTRA, 4. A keen, watchful eye over each step in the distillation process; including a very liberal trimming of the "heads and tails" of the distillate to ensure the highest quality Tequila, 5. Using only the highest quality, hand-selected sherry wood casks to produce exceptional taste, perfect balance and robust body. The care taken in producing Clase Azul ULTRA reveals itself in a sublime tasting experience. Clase Azul ULTRA gives us exquisite complexity in its aromas, while tantalizing the palate with its robust body and rich flavors. Clase Azul ULTRA's black, ceramic carafe is adorned with Silver, Platinum and Gold by well known, Mexican artisans. The Agave medallion is pure Silver "Ley .925" and is sculpted by the well known Mexican artist Leon Fernandez. The decorative paint on the bottle is pure platinum and is applied by the famous Mexican artist Tomas Saldivar. Finally, the label is applied to this work of art in 24K Gold. Because of the incredible attention to detail, each decanter takes approximately 40 days to produce. The final product is a work of art and is signed by the Artists and the Master Distiller. Mr. Lomeli has been the producer of Ultra Premium Tequilas for nearly 10 years. His award winning Clase Azul Reposado has received praise in the U.S. with Gold Medals from the highly acclaimed San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the Beverage Testing Institute in Chicago, and a 92 rating from the internationally regarded Anthony Dias Blue. size:1.75L Enjoy a complementary custom calligraphy.
