PPIT841
We booked this tour through RC and noticed that we only spend about 45 minutes in PISA and the tour does not include entrance to the leaning tower. with that said, does anyone know if that is enough time to go inside the tower? I did read that you can purchase tickets to go inside the tower in advance but its asking for a specific time frame...thoughts?
ellcee
I was there last month (not a cruise). I was on a tour with 50 others and none of us went in. You basically go there to take pictures. There’s a 5-10 minute walk to the tower once you enter the area, not sure if that’s enough time. Hopefully someone else can give you a better idea. Tira04
I'm not sure if it's the same excursion but @nblobstr wrote a review recently on a similar tour they did in Pisa which might hekp6!

There was discussion of this on another thread by a recent traveler as @Tira04 noted. When I was there in 2012 one had to get a ticket and then wait, by which time the tour would have left. You can take photos, buy souvenirs, and walk around the various buildings, but that's about all in the "standard" tours. PPIT841

Pisa is around 1 hour from the port , Florence is around 2 hours from the port , although you have around 13 hours in this port I would rather focus on Florence unless you really need to have a picture of your "holding" the tower . there are much more things to do in Florence. Jeanie
Does anyone know of a good tour company in St Maartin or San Juan I can book Snuba through rather than RC? I read that not all reviews are accurate on Trip Advisors, so little worried to rely on them.
hayley_bopp
Definitely not enough time to go up the tower on this tour. It is well worth the visit though just to see the tower from the outside. It might be possible for you to attend the acoustics demo in the battisterro though. You have to buy tickets for a couple of euros and only happens a couple of times each day hut it is breathtaking. Your guide will be able to advise you if you're in time and have time for it. Enjoy. Most people reading this are just interested in the specific location mentioned in the title. You won't get many views.
