docking time discrepancy??

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I will be on Harmony of the Seas on 9/29 and will be visiting Roatan on 10/3.  I was checking my itinerary and on Royal website we will be docking from 7AM - 4PM but on Roatan's official port schedule website our ship will be staying 8 AM - 5 PM.

not sure what to believe/follow..   anyone experience this before?

thanks!

For what it is worth, our cruise receipt for 8 Sept 19 cruise shows 8-5 for Roatan, and that is "ship time".

Now the App may or may not have up-to-date information until you are on the ship (our phone still shows the ship going to St. Maarten).

I heard a report about a schedule delay at Roatan recently that eventually became a cancelled port because of sea/wind conditions.  However, that can occur at almost any port at any time.

And as noted by @twangster , 8 AM arrival doesn't mean we will be cleared immediately...

Curios - what does your cruise planner calendar state for that day?

This is confusing.

My receipt following final payment AND cruise planner calendar shows following docking time

Day 2 Perfect Day 8-4

Day 4 Costa Maya - 11-7

Day 5 Roatan 7-4

Day 6 Cozumel 7:30 - 5

BUT!! when I do a mock booking now it shows completely different schedule!

Day 2 - Perfect Day 7-5

Day 4 - Cozumel!!!!  not Costa Maya!  7-6

Day 5- Roatan 8-5

Day 6 - Costa Maya 7-3

what the..??!!  I am CONFUSED.

In our 8 September itinerary, Cozumel is first and Costa Maya is last, as you have indicated in your mock booking.  Costa Maya is also formal night has the ship departs at 3 PM.  Also, Coco Cay is 8-5 instead of 7-5.  In the big scheme of things, an hour here or there doesn't bother me, but I don't use 3rd party excursions where schedule changes could have significant impact.
