B2B Cruises

Recommended Posts

We are recently retired and have never had the opportunity to go n B2B cruises. Is there a special way these need to be scheduled? Does RC give any incentives or discount on B2B bookings? I see all of these wonderful people talking about them and I get a little envious...just wondering if it would ever be an option for us.

We're doing our first one this coming December, to see how we like it. In our case, we booked using Next Cruise while we were onboard. However, the easiest way is to use a travel agent -- just tell them your time frame and interests and they can easily show you some options!

We have done many B2B cruises, and enjoy most of all an end-of-season cruise in an exotic locale, followed by a transatlantic or transpacific.  Downside of doing this: no transportation at one end (port) or the other - or both.  Have three booked together around Australia, crossing to Hawaii, and third to Vancouver.  Highly recommend!!

No special discounts or incentives, you just need a credit card.

Ideally you can keep the same cabin on the second leg but that isn't a requirement.  If there are no "same cabins" available for both you will move between cruises, they don't set aside cabins for this purpose or ask guests to move for your B2B.

If you manage to book two cruises in a row you or your travel agent should let Royal know else you look like any other guests on each cruise - they are two separate bookings until linked and you become a "consecutive cruiser".
