Movies on board?

Recommended Posts

Just wondered if they show movies on big screens anywhere? And if so are they family movies?  Just thinking after dinner and watching show what we can do after? Wont be going to the casino or the bars as have 9 year old with us and he wont be going kids clubs.

Did have had a look through old cruise compass but cannot see anything on there!

On another discussion topic, someone posted a list of the ships and their features.  Only a couple of ships have an indoor cinema (which is actually quite nice).  One is the Radiance and I can't remember the other.  Others I've been on have used the pool screen, as noted above.

I believe that all of the Radiance class ships still have their indoor cinema.  I HOPE they never remove them.  I loved going to see a film on some of the long sea days.  We did a TransAtlantic on Jewel once and it was really wonderful. Get there early though !  The place fills up fast and it's pretty small.

Yes, on the pool deck. If you're on an Oasis Class ship, it will be at the Aqua Theater.

Mostly, yes. In the evening you get less-juvenile films shown.

I've only been on three RC ships but all three had outdoor movies on the big screen.  Navigator, Allure and Empress

We were surprised how current the movies were on the Empress.  A lot of people were up there watching them each evening.

I know Serenade has one. Small but nice. Great way to kill a couple of  hours on sea days.

Thanks all, Sorry for all the questions trying to make sure I have as much info as possible before we go!

I guess will have to look out when on board to find details of movies and times!

Never apologize for asking questions.  That is what this forum is all about and guess what ?  We were all "new" at some point !
