xnavyss
Yesterday we received an email from Casino Royale for a comp ocean view stateroom on the Empress of the Seas for a 6 or 8 night cruise and or 4 or 5 night cruise on the Majesty of the Sea's. We selected the 8 night on Empress of the Seas. Since this is a comp cruise and the final cost for the wife and I was taxes and fee's of $282.00 My Question(s) Should we turn it over to a Travel Agent or leave it as it is ? Is there any benefit for the TA or us since it was a 100% comp cruise ? Thanks Joe ( Proud Military Veteran and Retired Navy Submarine Sailor )

Thanks Joe ( Proud Military Veteran and Retired Navy Submarine Sailor ) I know the answer to this because I am a TA and I get comped cruises from the Casino... There is no benefit to you BUT there is a big benefit to a TA. They will get full commission if you transfer it.. KristiZ
CGTLH
Not sure what the policy is transferring a new booking within what would be the final payment period. Best bet might be providing the TA the details and have them book it.

I've seen it successful once but generally speaking if it's past final payment due date I try to go through my agent to book unless she isn't available. If there is one cabin left that I want, then I book it direct. She's cool with that, she can't work 24 x 7 and knows I try to include her when possible.
